I am an attorney, technologist, wife, and most importantly, a mother. I am the daughter of immigrant parents who taught me the value of hard work and showed me what it takes to run a business. I was stuffing envelopes when I was six and handing out flyers on NYC street corners when I was seven. I worked a register, learned bookkeeping, and mastered sales techniques. I watched them as they grew a business from nothing and nurtured it to a multi-million dollar enterprise.

Fast forward several years, I found myself starting law school as a single parent with two kids and a full-time job for a Fortune 500 company. I went to school part-time, sacrificed dinner with my kids for four years, and managed to graduated magna cum laude.

My hard work has brought me to where I am today, but it has also been ridden with sacrifices. The sacrifices my parents made to raise two kids while trying to make ends meet, the sacrifices my kids made giving up their mother for the better part of four years, the sacrifices my now-husband made in helping raise two kids he didn’t have to. My journey has been filled with the joys and the tears of those who have loved and helped me here.

I carry this all with me as a lawyer. I carry the aspirations of a business owner mixed with the countless sleepless nights that entrepreneurship brings. I carry the worry of a parent wondering what will happen to her family when she’s no longer around. I carry the love of a child wanting to care for her own aging parents.
